5Excellent Engineering
By Javaman
I bought this desk a month ago, but it also has the top part not shown in this photo. It is made of composite material and is not solid wood. Yet for the price it is very sturdy and not of the cheaper Saduer fame. It did take me a long time to put together. 3 hours for top part, and 4 hours for bottom. Being fastidious, I wanted to make sure it was assembled correctly.

Instructions are pretty good with only a little confusion on door slider placements. Other than that the engineering on this was superb. I couldn't believe how accurate every single hole that was pre-drilled was placed. I mean this is obviously a computer controlled drilling CNC machine that they spent a lot of time programming becuase everything was perfect!!!!

For the price you will not be able to buy a nicer, stronger, more good looking desk. Forget solid wood desks as they easily cost 4 to 5 times the amount.

Highly recommended!

4Great for the Price
By J. Karren
I bought this desk to use for a home office in which I work from home on a laptop. This desk is stylish and perfect for the room. It does take a while to put together 3+ hours, but it was well worth it. The top of the desk was slightly dented during shipping but other than that it came in good shape. All in all a good purchase for someone looking for a stylish desk without spending upwards of 600-800 dollars (I got it for 175 with free shipping).

5Very nice
By Sychodellica
I was expecting a lower quality product; perhaps loose fiberboard with very rigid laminate shell. Instead I got a very dense fiberboard with very rigid laminate shell. It went together very well and is quite sturdy. The only real negatives: poor instructions (not super poor; I imagine online videos are quite useful.) One thing I disliked was having to nail the backing on; it just felt wrong. I think rotating clamps would have been a better idea (though I do understand that it is intended to give an illusion of a fully wood desk.) My desktop was slightly damaged during transit (nothing major) but when notified of this, Sauder sent a new one free of charge. I have to say that I am very, very impressed.
