I have had the lamp for a week and am returning it because the following information was not in the description: the on/off switch is not located anywhere on the lamp itself, but is instead on the cord. I thought it was automatic that a lamp like this would have an on/off switch on the top of the lamp, or someplace on the base. If it's on the cord, it just is really hard to turn on and off because it requires reaching behind my desk.

I suppose if you're a "lamp geek" or engineer, you might know that a GU24 bulb (which this lamp requires) is NOT a standard bulb base, but instead has two posts at the base which lock into the lamp. I, however, did not know this and ordered spare bulbs with standard household bases. It also comes with a bulb, so it's not a critical issue, it's just irritating that we're somehow supposed to know that a part number means non-standard.

Otherwise it seems to be a decent lamp/desk organizer.

Basic lamp basically works
Nothings special, just a plain desk lamp. It comes with one bulb. I took off one star because the light switch is about one foot down the electrical cord, which means if you put the lamp at the edge of your desk the switch is dangling off the side.
