Nice Big Desk

The desk was easy to put together it is made from quality products and has a great amount of space. Anyone looking for a decent sized desk for a good price I recommend this Alera Valencia Series Desk.

Well made and easy to assemble.

Luckily the desk survived the trip via UPS freight undamaged, luckily. I do think the packaging could use a little beefing up if they are going to continue to ship it that way however.
Assembly was fairly easy and straight forward, though at the end when you mate the top to the rest of the desk, it was very helpful, perhaps even necessary, to have an assistant to get it all lined up.
Once assembled it very sturdy, and looks great.

Watch Your Back

After getting all the pieces out and checking the hardware, all looked good. My wife and I proceeded to put this piece together. After about an hour of looking at the diagram and the actual pieces, we realized that the BACK did not align with the desktop, or the sides. Yes, none of the holes matched anything. I had to improvise with L-brackets to hold the back to the sides, and then the same thing with the back to the top. Fortunately, I had the right hardware in my basement because by the time we realized that this POJ was screwed up it was very late at night. I would not recommend this unless you really want a hassle.
